View Checklists

The 'Checklists' module in the Project Management Console enables project managers from general contractors, subcontractors, and other participating companies to efficiently manage inspection and event-related tasks. 

  • Create new checklists and assign them to themselves or team members.
  • Complete and submit checklists that have been assigned to them.
  • View and download completed checklists for review, documentation, or reporting purposes.

The Checklists Screen

  • Ensure that you are in the checklists management module of the project. If not,
    • Open the project management console
    • Click the app launcherand select 'Quality'
    • Click 'Checklist' on the top.

The 'Boards' screen opens and shows the checklists under various stages. 

  • The general contractor can view all checklists handled by all contractors and other project participants
  • The subcontractors can view only the checklists in which they were involved

From this screen, you can:

Boards View

The 'Boards' view opens by default wherever you access the checklists module and shows the checklists under various stages:

  • Click 'Boards' on the left to return to this screen if you are already on a different screen in the checklists module

Stages:

  • Draft - The checklists that are created by you or your staff, but yet to be forwarded to the assignee. 
  • In Progress - The checklists that are forwarded to the assignee and yet to be completed 
  • Completed - The checklists that have been completed and submitted. You can review and download the PDF version of the completed checklists at any time

Each card shows the at-a-glance details of the checklist:

Title of the checklist, briefly explaining the event.

The creation date of the checklist.

The individual responsible for managing and completing the assigned inspection or event.

The individual who initiated and assigned the checklist within the project.

The contractor company to which the assignee belongs.

The exact area on the site where the event/inspection takes place.

The date on or before which the inspection/event is to be completed. For items that are due shortly and overdue, the due date is highlighted to indicate the criticality.  
  • Yellow - The event is due within the next seven days
  • Red - The event is overdue
8-The current status of the item. The possible values are:
  • Draft
  • In progress
  • Completed
  • Click a card to open the checklist

List View

  • Click 'List' on the left to open the checklists in the list view

The list view shows the checklists as a list with their details:

The 'Default View' shows all the standard columns. However, you can customize the table by removing the columns you don't want to see, by right-clicking on the column header and deselecting the columns and re-arranging the columns in the order you want to view. See Customize Columns in List Views for more details. Following is the list of all possible columns:

Standard Columns

  • S No - The serial number of the checklist.
  • Title - The subject of the checklist. Click the name to open the checklist.
  • Responsible Contractor - The contractor company responsible for executing the inspection or the event.
  • Assignee- The individual belonging to the responsible contractor assigned to execute the inspection or the event.
  • Status - The current progress state of the event. The possible values are: 
    • Draft
    • In Progress
    • Completed
  • Due Date - The overall deadline date of the checklist completion and submission. For events that are approaching their deadline or are already past due, the due date is visually highlighted to emphasize urgency:
    • Yellow - The event is due within the next seven days
    • Red - The event is Overdue.
  • Created On - The date on which the checklist was generated
  • Location - The area of the event or the inspection.

Search and filter options:

Download as Excel Sheet

  • Click the 'Download' button at the top-right to save a local copy of the list in Excel format for sharing and record-keeping

  • File Name - The filename is automatically set to the date on which you download the data. Enter your preferred name in the text box to override the default.
  • Click the 'Direct Download' button to save the file directly to your device.

You can also save the file on the Linarc's cloud-based project file repository. This allows you to share it with other team members. The folder's access permissions determine which team members can view or edit the file.

  • Company Drive- Share with the project team members from your organization:
    • Select the folder that corresponds to your company name
    • Navigate to the desired folder and click 'Save.'
  • Project Drive- Share with the construction team members from any stakeholder organization: 
    • Select 'Project Drive'.
    • Navigate to the appropriate folder and click 'Save.'
