Linarc empowers project managers to efficiently monitor and track various events and inspections, whether assigned to team members or completed personally, through structured and easy-to-use smart checklists. This versatile feature supports a wide range of use cases — from site safety checks and progress reviews to punch list inspections, material delivery checks, events, and even routine daily activities like toolbox talks.
- Checklists are created at the project level and assigned to the responsible party, typically using ready-made templates for consistency and efficiency.
- Template management is handled centrally at the company level, where a master list of checklist templates is maintained. These templates are available for selection when setting up new inspection or checklist tasks within individual projects.
Typical Workflow
1. Checklist Assignment – To Responsible Organization
The assignor—typically a project manager—initiates the process by creating a checklist from a template using the web or mobile app. The checklist is then assigned to the appropriate contractor organization responsible for the task. If the event or inspection is to be handled internally, the assignor can assign it to their own organization.
2. Checklist Assignment – To the Team Member
Once the contractor organization receives the assignment, a responsible manager selects a specific team member to perform the inspection or event and complete the checklist. For self-performed work, the checklist can also be self-assigned.
3. Checklist Completion
The assigned team member completes the checklist using either the web or mobile app, depending on their role and the location of the task. Once completed, the checklist is submitted for review.
4. Review and Download
Upon submission, the assignor receives a notification and can review the completed checklist. For documentation and reporting purposes, the checklist can be downloaded as a PDF.
