View and Download Completed Checklists

Modified on Mon, 28 Apr at 5:26 AM

Team members, typically project managers from the contractor organizations involved in an event or inspection, can access checklists that have been completed and submitted by assignees.

  • Get a clear record of the items inspected, along with their corresponding statuses.
  • Review inspection outcomes, identify any anomalies, and determine if corrective actions are needed.
  • Download a PDF version of each completed checklist directly from the Checklist module for sharing and record-keeping purposes.
  • Additionally, the module automatically saves a copy of the PDF to the project’s dedicated cloud storage, specifically within the "Checklists" folder of the System Drive.

By maintaining these records, teams can ensure accountability, support compliance requirements, and facilitate better decision-making based on inspection results.

To view the completed and submitted checklists

  • Ensure that you are in the checklists management module of the project. If not,
    • Open the project management console
    • Click the app launcherand select 'Quality'
    • Click 'Checklist' on the top.

By default, the module opens on the Boards screen.

  • Locate the checklist you want to view in the 'Completed' column, then click to open it.
  • Alternatively, locate the checklist in the list view and click its name to open it.
  • Open each section from the right to view the items and their responses on the left, along with their attachments, notes, and linked items.

Download the Checklist

  • Click the 'Download' button at the top-right to generate and download the PDF version of the checklist.

The 'Downloads' pane displays a list of any previously generated PDF files for the checklist, if any, providing quick access to past versions for reference or review.

Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Initiate the PDF generation process

  • Click 'Generate'

The system compiles the PDF version of the document. The process takes around 30 seconds. You can view/download the PDF from the same pane.

  • The PDF features a table of contents with clickable links to respective sections.

Step 2: Download the generated PDF file to your device or Linarc Drive

  • Reopen the 'Downloads' pane by clicking the 'PDF' button.

The recently created PDF file is shown at the top of the list, if there are multiple items.

  • Click  to open the file in a new browser tab.
  • Click  to download it.

  • File Name - The filename is automatically set to the title of the checklist. Enter your preferred name in the text box to override the default.
  • Click the 'Direct Download' button to save the file directly to your device.

You can also save the file on Linarc's cloud-based project file repository. This allows you to share it with other team members. The folder's access permissions determine which team members can view or edit the file.

  • Company Drive- Share with the project team members from your organization:
    • Select the folder that corresponds to your company name
    • Navigate to the desired folder and click 'Save.'
  • Project Drive- Share with the construction team members from any stakeholder organization:
    • Select 'Project Drive'.
    • Navigate to the appropriate folder and click 'Save.'

You can use the PDF for sharing with others, should the checklist need review or inputs from them, and record keeping.
