The T & M module on the project management console allows the project managers of general contractors and subcontractors to perform the following actions:

The T&M Screen
- Ensure that you are in the T & M management module of the project. If not,
- Open the project management console
- Click the app launcher
and select 'Finance'
- Click 'T & M' on the top.
The interface shows the project's T&M tickets under various stages.
- The general contractor can view the tickets added by all subcontractors
- The subcontractors can view the tickets that they created for the project
You can view and manage the tickets in:
Boards View
The board view opens by default and shows the T&M tickets as cards under different stages.
- Click 'Boards' on the left to return to the Boards screen if you are already on a different screen in the T&M module
Stages:
- Open - The tickets that are created by your field staff, but yet to be confirmed by you.
- Pending Authorization- Tickets with initial cost estimates that surpass the established monetary thresholds and are pending approval by the general contractor.
- In Progress - Tickets that have been dispatched to the field, including those awaiting to be started and those already underway.
- Resolved - Tickets that have been marked as complete by the foreman, but yet to be reviewed and approved by the general contractor.
- Closed - Tickets for which the work has been completed and approved by the general contractor.
Each card shows the at-a-glance details of the ticket:
1 | - | Title of the T & M ticket, briefly explaining the work. |
2 | - | The creation date of the ticket. |
3 | - | The estimated manhours required to complete the work. |
4 | - | The contractor company that raised the ticket and handles the work. |
5 | - | The initial cost estimate of the work. |
6 | - | The estimated number of crew members required to complete the work. |
7 | - | The current status of the T & M ticket. The possible values are:

- Click a card to expand the ticket.
Based on your role in the project, you can review detailed information and take appropriate actions such as confirming the ticket, submitting it for authorization, approving or rejecting the work, and more.
List View
- Click 'Log' on the left to open the T & M tickets in the list view.
Note: The 'Log' screen displays tickets in all active stages, excluding those that are closed, cancelled, or rejected. Closed tickets can be accessed from the 'Completed' screen, while cancelled and rejected tickets are available in the 'Cancelled' screen.
The 'Default View' shows all the standard columns. However, you can customize the table by removing the columns you don't want to see, by right-clicking on the column header and deselecting the columns and re-arranging the columns in the order you want to view. See Customize Columns in List Views for more details. Following is the list of all possible columns:
- Ticket No - The serial number of the RFI. Click the number to open the ticket.
- Title - The subject of the RFI. Click the name to open the ticket.
- Est. Crew Count - The planned number of crew members to assign to the
- Duration - The estimated total time required to complete the work.
- Start Date- The planned commencement date of the work.
- End Date - The estimated completion date of the work.
- Labor Cost - Shows the planned and actual labor expenses associated with the work. Actual costs are available only for tickets that have been resolved.
- Material Cost - Shows the planned and actual material expenses associated with the work. Actual costs are available only for tickets that have been resolved.
- Equipment Cost - Shows the planned and actual expenses due to equipment usage, associated with the work. Actual costs are available only for tickets that have been resolved.
- Total Cost - The cumulative actual expenses for labor, materials, and equipment incurred in completing the work.
- Created on - The date on which the T & M ticket was created.
- Created by - The team member who generated the ticket, typically the field supervisor from the contractor company that performed the work.
- Contractor - The contractor company responsible for executing the work
- Status- The current state of the ticket. The possible states are:
- Open
- Awaiting Authorization
- In Progress
- Resolved
Search and filter options:
- Use the 'Search' box located at the top left to find RFI using any value from the table as search criteria
- The options at the top right allow you to filter the entries, create nested groups of entries, and manage personalized and customized views of the table. Use the links below to learn more about these:
Download as Excel Sheet
- Click the 'Download' button at the top-right to save a local copy of the list in Excel format for sharing and record-keeping
- File Name - The filename is automatically set to the date on which you download the data. Enter your preferred name in the text box to override the default.
- Click the 'Direct Download' button to save the file directly to your device.
You can also save the file on the Linarc's cloud-based project file repository. This allows you to share it with other team members. The folder's access permissions determine which team members can view or edit the file.
- Company Drive - Share with the project team members from your organization:
- Select the folder that corresponds to your company name
- Navigate to the desired folder and click 'Save.'
- Project Drive - Share with the construction team members from any stakeholder organization:
- Select 'Project Drive'.
- Navigate to the appropriate folder and click 'Save.'
