Punch List - iPad/iPhone - Overview

The Linarc Punchlist module enables project managers and field personnel with appropriate permissions to effortlessly create and manage punchlist items on-the-go directly from the field. Whether conducting periodical walkthroughs, checkpoints, county inspections, or close-out inspections, this powerful tool ensures that all necessary tasks are documented and addressed promptly and efficiently.

Staff members from the company that manages the project, typically the GC, can:

  • Create a punch list event in Linarc during each of their inspection/walkthrough
  • Add identified defects as punch list items (PLIs) to that event
  • Describe the defect with the location on a relevant plan sheet and supporting images and videos
  • Assign the PLIs to the respective contractor for resolution
  • Approve or revise the PLIs that are reported resolved by the assignees

The field in charge of the subcontractors can:

  • Receive the PLIs assigned to them on the mobile app
  • Assess the work and pull the PLI as a task 
  • Assign crew members for resolution
  • Once resolved, submit the item to the creator for approval
