Once a punch list item has been fixed, the assignee can mark the item as resolved and report that to the creator through the punch list mobile app. They can also add supporting attachments like photos and videos showing the fixed item.
To mark a PLI resolved
- Open the punch list tool on your mobile app
- Open the PLI. You can do that in two ways:
1. From the 'Events' screen
- Open the event to view the list of items in it
- Tap the item you want to mark as resolved
2. From the 'Items' screen
- Tap the item you want to mark as resolved from the 'In Progress' column
- Evaluate any attachments and notes added by the crew members
- Tap 'Resolve Item' at the bottom
- Enter your resolution comments and attachments
Comments - Type your notes, comments, and description of the resolved issue. Alternatively, tap the mic icon and speak out the notes. Our intelligent speech-to-text converter automatically enters the description as text.
Attachments – Attach photos and/or videos to show the issue. You can add the attachments in two ways:
- Tap the camera icon to open the device camera and capture photograph or video of the defect.
- Tap the image icon and upload the photo/video from your device gallery
- Tap 'Mark as Resolved'
The item is moved to ‘Resolved’ status and forwarded to the creator for review, assessment, and approval.
