Create a Punchlist - Overview

Project Managers, Site superintendents, or other site staff like foremen, with the permission to create/manage punch lists in the Linarc Platform, can create punch list events for each of their inspections, walkthroughs, etc., from the field using the mobile punchlist tool. 

  • Each event is specified with the trade and the contractor whose work is inspected. 
  • If defects pertaining to different trades/contractors are to be identified during a walkthrough/inspections, create separate events for each trade and specify the contractor respectively
  • Once created, add the defects and issues identified during the event as punch list items (PLIs). 
  • Once all items are added the event is published to push the items to the contractor associated with the event.

Creation of a PLI starts with pinning its location on the relevant plan sheet and attaching images and videos for a clear and comprehensible explanation of the defect.
