Schedule Status Line Overview

Modified on Mon, 21 Jul at 1:15 AM

Monitoring project progress is crucial for assessing how closely actual execution aligns with the planned schedule over time. Linarc’s powerful scheduling tool allows you to capture snapshots of task progress and updated schedules at any point in the project lifecycle for effective comparison.

You can define key dates on which these snapshots are saved as status line markers within the Gantt chart. Analyze shifts in schedule performance at multiple checkpoints — all within the same Gantt view

  • Create and manage multiple status line markers to maintain a detailed record of schedule progress, allowing you to track progress across all important points in the project timeline.
  • Status lines can only be created for the current date to log real-time task progress using color-coded markers for key dates like check-ins or deadlines.
  • Only one status line can be added per day, but you can create and delete status lines as often as needed throughout the project.
  • Compare up to three status line markers at a time to analyze changes and identify delays or improvements through visual progress comparisons.
  • Pin the progress details of up to three tasks for any selected status line markers and view planned vs. completed status with clear visual highlights, keeping them visible while navigating the rest of the schedule.
Note: Status lines are visible in both the Gantt view and the Grid & Gantt split view, allowing you to track progress seamlessly across different layouts.
