The Milestone View offers a clear, milestone-focused way to visualize and track your project’s progress. Tasks are organized under the milestones they contribute to, giving you a structured and meaningful overview of what’s needed to reach each project goal.

Expand each milestone to see all associated tasks, complete with key details like planned start/end dates, early and late timelines, float/slack, and more.
Get a snapshot of progress for every milestone, including total task count, earliest start date, latest projected end date, and the number of days remaining.
Tasks not linked to any milestone are grouped under a dedicated Not on Milestone section, making it easy to spot and manage unassigned work.

To view the schedule in milestone view

Ensure that you are on the project schedule module. If not done already:
- Ensure that you are on the management console of the project
- Click the app launcher icon in the top-right and select 'Schedule'
- Click 'Planner' at the top and 'Milestone' on the left

Outline - The serial number of the line item in the outline numbering system, as per the WBS hierarchy.

WBS - The WBS code number of the task/schedule item. Applies only to the schedule created with custom WBS numbering system.

Task Name - The label of the task/schedule item.

Task Code - The cost code of the item. Auto-populates if the item is added from the estimate. You can also manually enter the code.

Days Remaining- The number of days required to complete the milestone

Progress -

Milestones: Calculated as the aggregate completion percentage of all tasks that the milestone depends on.
Tasks: Represents the completion percentage of each task. For parent-level tasks, progress is rolled up from their child tasks.

Task Count - The total number of tasks that must be completed for the milestone to be achieved.

Milestone Start - The earliest start date among all tasks linked to the milestone.

Milestone End - The latest end date among all tasks linked to the milestone.

Plan Start - The scheduled commencement date of the task. The planned start date auto-populates for dependent tasks based on the relationship with the predecessor task.

Plan End - The completion date of the task. Auto-calculated from the Plan Start date and the Planned Days. You can also manually enter the planned end date so that the planned days gets auto-populated.

Early Start - The earliest date at which the task can be started.

Early Finish- The earliest date at which the task can be completed.

Late Start- The latest date at which the task can be commenced.

Late Finish- The latest date at which the task can be completed.

Slack- The permissible number of days the task can be started after the planned start date without affecting the overall schedule.

Location - The spot on the site where the task is executed. This is optional and can be entered manually.

Contractor - The contractor company to whom the task item is allotted.

Search, filter and sort options:

Use the 'Search' box located at the top left to find any change order of any project using any value from the table as search criteria
Right-click the column header and customize the display and order of the columns as you wish
