The calendar helps project managers to view the schedule items like tasks, milestones and checkpoints, crew scheduling, equipment schedule, etc., for each day.


  • General contractors - Can view all schedule items in the master schedule and those assigned to all subcontractors.  
  • Subcontractors - Can view schedule items assigned by the GC and the child tasks they added to the parent items received from the GC.

The calendar view is available with different period options:

  • Month – Shows the tasks, milestones, checkpoints, etc., scheduled for a selected month.
  • Week– Shows the tasks, milestones, checkpoints, etc., scheduled for a selected week. Two weeks and three weeks options are also available.  
  • Day – Shows tasks and other items for a selected day, with granular details on each item.

To view the schedule in the calendar view

  • Ensure that you are on the project schedule module. If not done already:
    • Ensure that you are on the management console of the project
    • Click the app launcher icon  in the top-right and select 'Schedule'
    • Click 'Planner' on the top
  • Select 'Calendar from the left
  • Choose the duration to view, viz. Weekly or Monthly from the drop-down at the top

The left pane shows the selected view of the calendar, and the right pane displays the list of scheduled task items. 

  • Use the arrows at the top to move to the week/date range for which you want to view the calendar.

  • Filter items displayed on the calendar

    The ‘Quick Filter’ dropdown on the top right lets you select the items you want to see on the calendar and the list of task items in the right pane.

    Change calendar view

    The dropdown at the top left lets you choose the period you want to view the calendar.

    The available options are:

  • Monthly – Shows the scheduled items for each day of the current or any selected month.

    • Use the left and right arrows beside the month name at the top to navigate to the desired month.
    • Click on an item in the calendar to view its details on the right pane.
  • Weekly -  Shows the scheduled items for each day of the current or selected week.

    • Use the left and right arrows beside the week at the top to navigate to the desired week.
    • Click on an item in the calendar to view its details on the right pane.
  • Bi-Weekly - Shows the scheduled items for each day of the current week and the following week by default. You can choose any two consecutive weeks for which you want to view the calendar.

    • Use the left and right arrows beside the weeks at the top to navigate to the desired weeks.
    • Click on an item in the calendar to view its details on the right pane.
  • Triweekly - Shows the scheduled items for each day of the current week and the next two weeks by default. You can choose any three consecutive weeks for which you want to view the calendar.

    • Use the left and right arrows beside the weeks at the top to navigate to the desired period.
    • Click on an item in the calendar to view its details on the right pane.
  • Day - Shows the scheduled items for the current day. You can choose any day you want to view the tasks and other items planned for that day.

    • Use the left and right arrows beside the date at the top to navigate to the desired day.
  • The ‘Day’ view shows the details of the scheduled items in the left pane. The right pane shows the number of crew members and equipment operators designated for the work on that day.

    The right pane shows the list of task items in the project schedule.

    You can view the details of an item in two ways:

    • Click the item in the Task Items interface to expand it
  • Or

    • Click the item in the calendar on the left pane
  • The details pane shows the counts of the general crew, special crew, and equipment operators scheduled for the task, its start and end dates, and its current progress.
