View Plan Sheets Referenced in Document Items

Modified on Thu, 20 Nov at 12:45 AM

Plan drawings provide visual context for project documents such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch list items.

  • Plan sheets help identify the exact locations referenced in these documents.
  • Users can link drawings—along with markup annotations—directly to the descriptions, questions, requests, or responses within RFIs, submittals, COs, and punch list items.

The 'Sheet Usage' screen provides a detailed view of how plan sheets are used as references across different project documents. It allows you to:

  • Identify the plan sheets linked to any specific project document.
  • See the documents where a particular plan sheet has been referenced.

This gives the construction team a clear understanding of how and where plan sheets are utilized throughout the project lifecycle.

To view the plan sheet usage

  • Ensure you're in the 'Plans' module. If not,
    • Click the app launcher icon in the top-right, then select 'Documents.'
    • Click 'Plans' on the top
  • Select 'Sheet Usage' on the left.

The screen displays a list of all instances where a plan sheet is linked to a document item, along with detailed information for each reference.

  • Sheet No. - The sheet number of the plan drawing. Click the sheet number to open the latest version of the sheet.
  • Sheet Name - The label of the plan sheet. Click the sheet name to open the latest version of the sheet.
  • Sheet Version - The version number of the sheet referenced in that item
  • Sheet Disclipine - The division of work to which the plan sheet pertains
  • Linked Module - The type of document
  • Linked Item - The title of the document item
  • Linked By - The user who attached the plan sheet
  • Linked on - The date of the event
