View Company Task Codes

The ‘Task Codes‘ screen shows the alphanumeric codes assigned to the task items by your company. This serves as a ready reference for the codes, for use in schedule, budget, estimates, etc. of your projects.

  • Ensure that you are on the 'Task Codes' screen in the portfolio console, If not:
  • Click the main menu at the top-left.
    • Click 'Project' in the menu drop-down.
    • Click 'Company' from the top.
  • The 'Company Info' screen opens by default, click 'Team Codes' on the left.

  • Color code - Color assigned to the task. This enables you to group-sort tasks with easy identification
  • Cost Code - The unique task code associated with the category/task
  • Task name - The label of the task, shortly describing it
  • Task type - Whether the activity is fieldwork, office work, or an admin task
  • Quantity - The amount of work done. Applies only to packages
  • Unit - The measurement unit of the work done/deliverable. Applies only to packages
  • Effort - The labor involved to get a specified amount of work done. Applies only to packages
  • Status- The current status of the task code, whether active or disabled


Search, Filter, and Sorting Options
  • Click the magnifier icon and use the 'Search' box located at the top left to find an entry using any value from the table as search criteria 
  • Click any column header to sort the rows in ascending or descending order based on that column's data.
  • Click the cog wheel icon at the top right to adjust the display density and customize the display and order of the columns. See Customize Columns in List Views.
  • The options at the top left allow you to filter the entries and create nested groups of entries of the table. Use the links below to learn more:
Download as Excel Sheet Click the 'Download' icon at the top right to save a local copy of the list in Excel format for sharing and record-keeping. See Download List Views and Logs in Excel Format for more details
