Media available in the feeds are viewable by the project participants, depending on the access restrictions assigned to them or the album containing them.
- You can define and modify access restrictions only for the media files you uploaded and those shared with you.
- You cannot remove access to the creator for the items that are shared with you.
- By default, an album's access restrictions apply to its content. See Share an album for more details.
- You can reduce access limitations for an item by shifting it from a higher restriction level to a lower one, but you cannot tighten them. For example, a file can be changed from 'Restricted' to 'Public,' but not the other way round.
There are three types of access restrictions applied to the media in feeds:
- Public - Viewable by all users belonging to all companies participating in the project
- Restricted - Viewable only by users belonging to selected companies participating in the project
- Private - Viewable only by selected persons from your company who participate in the project. This includes, for example, fellow project managers, construction managers, project directors, etc.
To set access rights to a media file
- Ensure that you are on the 'Feeds' screen. If not,
- Open the project management console
- Click the app launcher
and select 'Field'

- Restricted- You can choose the participating companies with which you want to share the media. All members with 'View' permission for the Feeds module can access the file

- Use the 'Ctrl' or 'Shift' keys on your keyboard to select more than one company at a time
