The line tool lets you add lines and arrows to point to an area, a spot, another markup, text, etc., on the plan drawing. You can easily resize the arrow to match the area to be marked.
- Optional - Choose the required border color, stroke width, and background fill color. See Setup stroke width, color, and background if you need guidance on this.
To add a line or arrow
- Open the plan to add the markup.
- Tap the line tool and choose the element you want.
- Touch the spot on the plan sheet where you want to add the markup
- Long-touch any one end of the line/arrow to reveal the handles.
- Drag the handles at the ends to resize the arrow to the required orientation and size.
The markup is created as a layer on the plan sheet and saved temporarily as a draft.
To change the stroke color, width, and fill color
- Long press one end of the line/arrow to select it
- Select the Stroke tool and set the color and stroke width
- Open the layer editor by touching the icon
- Use the icon to show or hide the layer
- Double-tap any end of the line/arrow or tap the ellipses button to open the edit options.
- Select 'Copy' to clone the element. See Edit markup layers for more details.
- Select 'Delete' to remove an element added by mistake
- Go to the next tool if you want to add more markup elements.
- Once you are done with the markup elements, save the layer group as markup. See Publish markups for more guidance.
