Add lines and arrows

Modified on Sat, 2 Nov at 1:19 PM

The line tool lets you add lines and arrows to point to an area, a spot, another markup, text, etc., on the plan drawing. You can easily resize the arrow to match the area to be marked.

To add a line or arrow

  • Open the plan to add the markup.
  • Tap the line tool and choose the element you want.
  • Touch the spot on the plan sheet where you want to add the markup
  • Long-touch any one end of the line/arrow to reveal the handles.
  • Drag the handles at the ends to resize the arrow to the required orientation and size.

The markup is created as a layer on the plan sheet and saved temporarily as a draft.

To change the stroke color, width, and fill color

  • Long press one end of the line/arrow to select it
  • Select the Stroke tool and set the color and stroke width

  • Open the layer editor by touching the icon
  • Use the eyeicon to show or hide the layer
  • Double-tap any end of the line/arrow or tap the ellipses button to open the edit options.
  • Select 'Copy' to clone the element. See Edit markup layers for more details.
  • Select 'Delete' to remove an element added by mistake
  • Go to the next tool if you want to add more markup elements.
  • Once you are done with the markup elements, save the layer group as markup. See Publish markups for more guidance.
