View Feeds by Timeline

Modified on Mon, 21 Apr at 2:30 AM

The Timeline view of the project feeds organizes photos, images, and videos by their upload date, ensuring clear and structured visual documentation for your projects. This makes it easier for teams to quickly locate relevant media linked to specific project dates or phases. With this feature, you can:

  • Track visual progress aligned with weekly or monthly timelines.
  • Simplify reporting by accessing images and videos tied to specific timeframes.
  • Save time by filtering media based on upload dates.

To view feeds by timeline

  • Ensure that you are in the 'Feeds' module. If not:
    • Open the project management console
    • Click the app launcher icon in the top-right and select 'Field'
    • Click 'Feeds' at the top and select 'Timeline' on the left

Photos and videos are grouped by the month they were added to the project. Items contributed within the last seven days appear under the 'This Week' tile. Each group is displayed as a tile, featuring thumbnail previews of the media.

  • Select a tile to view the collection of items added in that period.
  • Double-click on a thumbnail to open it.

Delete items

You can delete images and videos from a particular time frame from the project feeds

  • Ensure you are in the 'Timeline' screen
  • Open the desired period
  • Hover the mouse over the image or the video file and click the check box on the top left of the thumbnail to select
  • Similarly, select the images and videos you want to delete at once

  • Click the 'Delete' button on the top right
  • Confirm the number of images/videos you want to delete by entering the same on the confirmation pop-up
  • Click the button
  • The selected images/videos are deleted and sent to the trash.
