A plan sheet can be forwarded to or shared with project participants based on its applied permissions.
By default, an individual plan sheet automatically inherits the sharing settings of the plan set it belongs to. However, if you uploaded or own the sheet, you can customize its specific sharing restrictions.
There are three types of access restrictions you can apply to a plan sheet:
- Public: Viewable by all users across all companies participating in the project.
- Restricted: Viewable only by users belonging to specific, selected companies participating in the project.
- Private: Viewable only by selected individuals from your own company who participate in the project (e.g., fellow project managers, construction managers, project directors, etc.).
To set visibility settings of a plan sheet
Ensure you are on the desired plan sheet. If not,
- Click the Main Menu button in the top-left corner.
- Under the 'Documentation' section in the drop-down pane, select 'Plan Sheets.'
Note: If you are already working within the Plans module, click 'Plan Sheets' on the left-hand menu.
- Click the thumbnail (from the grid view) or name of the sheet (from the list view) to open the sheet
- Click the
button at the top-right

- Choose the visibility level in the 'Set Visibility' pop-up:
Note: The default access inherits from that of the planset to which the sheet belongs.
There are three options:
- Public- The plan set is visible to all users from all participating organizations, with access permissions for plans in their role
- Choose 'Public' and click 'Share.'
- Restricted- You can choose the participating companies with which you want to share the plan set.
- Choose 'Restricted' or click on 'Restricted' to set this level

- Select the companies from the list of collaborating companies by clicking their serial numbers
- Click 'Share'
The plan sheet will be visible only to the project manager-level users from the selected companies
- Private- You can choose the other employees of your company who are participating in the project to share the plan set
- Choose 'Private' or click on 'Private'
The list shows the project team members of your company. If the person you want to add is not on the list, add the person to the project, then repeat the process. See Add Project Team Members for more guidance on this.
- Select persons by clicking their serial numbers
- Click 'Share'
The plan sheet is accessible only to your internal project team.
