Linarc lets you maintain consistency and accuracy in project creation with standardized attribute lists from your company admin console. The 'Project Config' screen helps you define master lists for key categories like building types and construction types, ensuring uniformity across all company-managed projects.
Create centralized master lists for building types, job types, and other key project attributes.
Restrict available attribute options during project creation to ensure consistency across all projects.

To configure the project setup master list
- Ensure that you are in the 'Project Attributes' screen of the company admin console. If not:
- Open the company admin console
- Click 'Configuration' at the top, then select 'Project Config' on the left
A predefined list to control the options available when setting project attributes during project creation is shown. You can configure the following:
Building Type
You can select the building types under the construction categories your company commonly undertakes—residential, commercial, industrial, and more.
- Select 'Building Type' on the left
- Click the 'Edit' button on the top right
- Expand each category to see the sub-type available and click the check boxes to select
- Click the 'Save' button
Only the selected building types and subtypes will be available for project managers to select when they add their projects to Linarc.
Construction type
Define the job types your company typically handles—such as new builds, renovations, or infrastructure projects.
- Select 'Construction Type' on the left
- Click edit on the top to select the construction types your company handles
- Click the 'Save' button for the controls to take effect
Only the enabled construction type options will be available for project managers to select when they add their projects to Linarc.
Project Stage
- Select the 'Project Stage' on the left to create a master list of options to specify the stage when a project is added to your company account in Linarc
- Click the 'Save' button for the controls to take effect
After saving the above categories, only the selected options will appear in the dropdowns when creating a new project. This ensures consistency, simplifies setup, and standardizes project data across your organization.
Note: If master lists are not defined at the company admin level, all attribute options will be available at the project portfolio level for the project manager or project director who creates the project.
