Portfolio Punchlist Details screen provides a centralized, cumulative view of all punchlist items (PLIs) across your projects. It consolidates key data from PLIs raised during various events in each project and offers direct shortcuts for quick access, review, and action.
- General Contractors – Gain full visibility into all PLIs within their projects, ensuring comprehensive oversight and efficient coordination.
- Subcontractors and Other Stakeholders – Access PLIs where they are directly involved as creators, assignees, or reviewers, across all their projects.
To view the PLIs across all your projects
- Ensure that you are in the portfolio console.
- To return to the portfolio console from any other part of the platform:
- Click the App Launcher button
in the top-right corner and select "Portfolio" from the dropdown.
- Click the App Launcher button
- Click 'Documents' on the top, then select 'Punchlist Details' on the left
The 'Default View' shows all the standard columns. However, you have the flexibility to customize the table by removing unwanted columns, and re-arranging the columns in the order you want to view. Additionally, you can save your customizations as a personalized view to quickly access your preferred table layout in the future. See Customize Columns in List Views for more details. Following is the list of all possible columns:
- Item – The name of the punchlist item (PLI). Click the name to open the PLI, view its details, and respond.
- Project Name – The project associated with the PLI.
- Created On – The date the PLI was recorded.
- Priority – The criticality of the item, categorized as High, Medium, or Low.
- Due Date – The deadline by which the defect is expected to be resolved and closed.
- Created By – The project manager who initiated the punchlist event and added the PLI.
- Status– Indicates the progress stage of the PLI. Possible statuses include:
- Draft – The item has been added to an event but has not yet been notified to the responsible contractor. You can notify them by:
- Publishing the event – All items in the event move to the Open state at once.
- Publishing individual items – Selectively notify contractors about specific PLIs.
- Open – The contractor has been notified but has not yet responded by accepting or disputing the item.
- Work Accepted – The contractor has reviewed the item and agreed to address it.
- In Progress – The item is actively being worked on in the field.
- Resolved – The defect has been addressed, and the creator has been notified for review.
- Approved – The PLI creator has reviewed and approved the resolution. Once approved, the item is officially closed.
- Draft – The item has been added to an event but has not yet been notified to the responsible contractor. You can notify them by:
Search and filter options:
- Use the 'Search' box located at the top left to find any project or PLI using any value from the table as search criteria
- Right-click the column header and customize the display and order of the columns as you wish
- The options at the top right allow you to filter the entries, create nested groups of entries, and manage personalized and customized views of the table. Use the links below to learn more about these:
Download as Excel Sheet
- Click the
button at the top-right to save a local copy of the list in Excel format for sharing and record-keeping.
- By default, the filename is set to the current date, but you can customize it by entering a preferred name in the text box.
- Click 'Direct Download' to save the file on your device.
