Contractors - View Daily Field Reports

Modified on Fri, 16 May at 3:10 AM

Daily Field Reports (DFR) offer project managers a comprehensive, real-time overview of job site activity for that day. These reports help contractors monitor key operational details such as resource deployment (labor, equipment), tasks worked on, weather conditions, safety incidents, and more. Each report also includes daily progress photos submitted by field staff.

Linarc automates the collection and generation of these reports by seamlessly pulling data entered by foremen and crew members through their mobile app. At the end of each shift, data from various modules is compiled to create a complete DFR.

From the Daily Field Reports interface, you can:

Each generated PDF is automatically saved in the appropriate folder within the project’s file storage system for organized archival and future reference.

Each task is presented with key metrics, including total effort hours, cost incurred, labor and equipment utilization, and any task-specific notes entered by the foreman.

Safety incidents

The ‘Safety Incidents’ pane displays a list of all safety-related incidents or accidents reported from the field for the day. Each entry includes critical details such as the severity of the incident,  any injuries and their treatment, and a brief description provided by the reporting individual.

Download DFR as a PDF Document

The 'Daily Field Report' screen allows you to save a copy of the report as a PDF file for sharing and record-keeping purposes. You can generate the pdf file of the DFR for any previous date and download it.
