The pen tool lets you create free-form or freehand markups on the plan drawings wherever you want.

To add a freehand markup

  • Open the plan to add the markup.
  • Tap the 'Pen' tool to choose it.
  • Draw your freehand markup on the plan drawing.

  • Long touch the markup till the handles appear at the corners.

  • Move the markup to the precise location
  • Use the handles to resize the markup to the required orientation and size.

The markup is created as a layer on the plan sheet and saved temporarily as a draft.

To change the stroke color, width, and fill color

  • Long press the markup to select it
  • Select the Stroke tool and set the color and stroke width

  • Open the layer editor by touching the icon
  • Use the eyeicon to show or hide the layer
  • Double-tap the markup or tap the ellipses button to open the edit options.
  • Select 'Copy' to clone the element. See Edit markup layers for more details.
  • Select 'Delete' to remove an element added by mistake
  • Go to the next tool if you want to add more markup elements.
  • Once you are done with the markup elements, save the layer group as markup. See Publish markups for more guidance.
