Linarc automatically generates a draft Schedule of Values (SOV) by mapping every budget line item directly to your contract. You can group budget line items by custom categories—such as location, floor, or phase—even if they originate from different contract lines. This feature allows you to reorganize these items into logical groups to simplify payment applications and align the billing structure with your project’s Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). You can,
Bundle multiple budget lines into a single SOV row to reduce complexity during the billing cycle.
- Assign custom labels to the groups to define how they will appear on official pay apps, invoices, and other financial documents.
Create Custom SOV groups
- Ensure you are on the 'SOV' screen. If not:
- Click the app launcher icon
in the top-right, and select "Finance" from the drop-down - Click 'Contract' at the top, then select 'SOV' from the options on the left

The 'Schedule of Values' screen opens with the list of budget line items grouped under each contract line item:

The table consists of the following columns:

- Budget Line item - The individual cost item derived from the project budget that is mapped to the SOV line item
- Quantity- The total number of units allocated for the specific work item.
- UOM - The unit by which the amount of work done is measured
- Total Budget - The total monetary value assigned to the line item, representing the sum of labor, materials, and equipment.
