Add or Remove Contract line items

Linarc allows you to add new line items, update values, or remove unwanted line items from a saved contract at any time until it is finalized. Once the contract is finalized, you can lock it to safeguard against accidental changes. After locking, no edits are permitted, and any additions or modifications must be made through approved change orders.

To edit the saved contract

  • Ensure that you are in the 'Commitment Contract' screen, if not;
    • Click the app launcherand select 'Finance.'
    • Click 'Contract' on the top and 'Commitment' on the left.

You can:

Search, filter and sort options:
  • Use the 'Search' box located at the top left to find an item using any value from the table as search criteria.
  • Hover over a column header and use the sort icon to sort the table in ascending or descending order of the entries in that column.
  • Right-click the column header and customize the display and order of the columns as you wish.

Add a new line item

  • Click the 'Add Row' button at the bottom

A new blank line is added at the bottom of the table.

Tip:
Use the search box at the top to search for the cost code you want to select.
  • Click the 'Save' button at the top right after adding the values in the other fields to add the line to the contract cost breakdown.

Edit line items

You can edit any line item of the contract until it is locked. This is helpful to correct any typographical errors, revision of amounts, etc.

To edit a line item

  • Click on the row/cell to edit the details. Your changes are auto saved.

Remove unwanted items

  • Click the trashcanbutton in the 'Actions' column in the right extreme to remove the line item.
