View Fund Allocation Log

The 'Allocation Log' screen under 'Contracts' provides a detailed view of cost allocations to the schedule tasks from the contract-based cost breakdown.

To view the linked contract items and allotted funds

  • Ensure that you're in the Project Contract screen. If not:
    • Click the app launcherand select 'Finance' from the project management console
    • Click 'Contract' on top and select 'Allocation Log' from the left

  • Outline - The serial number of the line item in the outline numbering system, as per the WBS hierarchy.
  • Cost Code -  A unique identifier assigned to a specific cost item or activity, used to track expenses and performance at a granular level. 
  • Task Name- The descriptive label of the task, activity, or cost item. 
  • Division code-  The standardized numerical code of the discipline of work as per CSI MasterFormat. Applicable only if your company's cost codes are inherited from the CSI MasterFormat. 
  • CO Name-  The identifier for the change order,  
  • Division name - The descriptive label of the discipline of work. 
  • Planned start -  The scheduled commencement date of the task. 
  • Planned end -  The completion date of the task.  
  • Allocated estimate -  The actual value assigned to the cost item 
  • Total estimate amount - The estimated allocation of costs across all tasks or items under this category. 
Search, filter and sort options:
  • Use the 'Search' box located at the top left to find an item using any value from the table as search criteria 
  • Right-click the column header and customize the display and order of the columns as you wish 
  • Hover the mouse and click the sort icon next to the column header to sort the table in ascending order by that column. Click the icon again to sort the table in decending order.
  • The options at the top right allow you to filter the entries, and manage personalized and customized views of the table. Use the links below to learn more about these:

View Groups and Subtotals

  • You can get totals and subtotals of numerical data for any selected set of records by grouping and applying nested grouping. Use the  icon at the top right to organize the data by column headers.
  • The system automatiescally aggregates relevant numerical values, giving a structured breakdown and a clear view of the grand total distribution. See Group and Organize Items in a List View for more details
