The T&M module in Linarc enables authorized team members to create tickets for out-of-scope work- such as ad-hoc tasks or evolving field requirements. These tickets are typically initiated from the field by site superintendents or other users with the necessary permissions, using their mobile devices. However, Linarc also provides the flexibility for project managers to create T&M tickets directly from the web platform, for example, on behalf of the foreman.
This article walks you through the steps to create a T&M ticket from the web interface.
Each ticket includes:
- A work description
- Estimated costs by category (labor, materials, equipment) with cost code
- Planned timeline, required manhours, crew size, and relevant attachments.
To create a T&M ticket
- Ensure that you are in the T & M management module of the project. If not,
- Open the project management console
- Click the app launcher
and select 'Finance'
- Click 'T&M' on the top.
- Click the
button on the top right
Enter the following details:
- Ticket name - Enter a title for the T&M work, shortly describing it
- Cost Code- The cost code of the work. Click the drop-down to show the cost codes for the T&M task in the company-level master list. Select the desired code.
- Estimate Details
- Crew Members - Enter the estimated number of crew members to be deployed
- Estimated Hours- Enter the total time required to complete the work.
- Material Cost, Equipment Cost, and Labor Cost - Enter the planned costs for material, labor, and equipment usage in the respective fields. These fields are optional. These can be filled in the next step.
- Start Date & End Date - The proposed timeline for the work
- Click the
button
A T&M ticket is created in open status. You can add descriptions, supporting attachments, and estimated costs to proceed further:
