Compare Planned and Actual SOVs

The Linarc SOV module offers the general contractors monthly comparisons between the planned SOVs and the actuals received, with clear insights into any differences.

  • In addition to the planned SOV, Linarc also precisely tracks the monthly SOVs from each contractor based on the completion percentages of the tasks that they work on 
  • The Planned vs. Actual screen provides a side-by-side view of the planned and actual SOV amounts for every task, broken down by month.
  • These comparisons allow the GC to assess whether a task is advanced, delayed, or progresses as planned. 

To view the Planned Vs Actuals SOVs

  • Open the 'SOV' > 'Planned SOV' screen. To do so:
    • Ensure that you are on the management console of the project
    • Click the app launcher icon in the top-right, select "Finance" from the drop down
    • Click 'SOV' on the top, then select 'Planned  Vs Actuals' from the options on the left

Search and filter options

Sortting options

Hover over a column header and click theicon next to it to access sorting options.

  • Select 'Ascending' to sort the rows based on the values in that column, arranged alphanumerically from lowest to highest
  • Select 'Descending' to sort  the rows based on the values in that column, arranged alphanumerically from highest to lowest
  • Click 'Clear' to return to the default view
