Crew members can end their clock at any time. For example, they move from one project to another, take a long break, end their day, and more. On clocking out, the user can review a log of activities on that day at different projects and edit the time card for reconciliation and submission.
If you clock out before the end time of your shift, you can resume the clock at any time before the shift end time and clock your activities. See Clock out and resume for more details. You can also add the tasks you worked on in the intermediate period with the start and end times for each task.

TABLE OF CONTENTS
Stop your clock
- Open the TimeCard app
- Select the project and ensure that you are on the 'Stop Watch' screen
The total time spent so far on the site is shown:
- Tap 'Clock Out'
A confirmation is shown:
- Tap 'OK'
The next step is to review the log of your activities for that day. The 'Log' screen shows the projects you worked on:
- Choose the project you want to review the log of activities
The log screen allows you to edit the logs, viz., change the task name, add tasks that you missed to clock in, and more.
Revise your time card
Edit the tasks
If you have wrongly chosen a task name when starting or switching tasks, you can correct them so the clocked time will be transferred to the chosen task.
- Tap the task name field in the log and choose the correct task name
- Repeat the process for any other wrongly chosen tasks
Manually add tasks
The logs screen also allows you to add tasks that you might have missed to clock in, in between clock-out, and resume operations. Example scenarios:
- You clocked out when moving out of the site and forgot to clock in immediately on your return. You might have been working on some tasks during the time between clock out and resume operations. You can add them to the log from the review screen. See Add intermediate tasks.
- You clocked out before the end of your shift time but were involved in some tasks after it. You can add them to the log and resubmit the timecard. See Add tasks after the final clock out.
Add intermediate tasks
A plus symbol appears beside the task time entries, for which the next clock-in time is after an interval. You can add tasks for the interval by clicking the plus symbol:
- Tap the plus button under which you want to add tasks
A new entry is added, as a duplicate of the previous task, covering the interval time period. An example is shown below:
- Tap the task name and choose the actual task you performed
- Use the time fields to set the start and end times of the task
- Tap the plus button beside the added task and repeat the process to add the next task. Note that you can add successive tasks till you cover the interval.
- Tap the minus button to remove/correct any manually added task.
Add tasks after final clock out
A plus symbol appears beside the last task clocked out before the shift end. Please note that you can manually add tasks at a later time only until the shift end time.
- Add tasks executed after the clock out, as explained above.
Submit your time card
To ensure authenticity, you can add your signature to the timecard during submission at the end of the day. If your organization requires timecards to include your signature, you can configure the timecard app to automatically attach your signature to the submitted record for the day. This measure helps prevent proxy entries and reinforces the integrity of your submissions.

Submit your timecard with your signature
Prerequisite: Ensure that Face ID is enabled on your phone and your facial data is registered. Additionally, you must grant the necessary Face ID permissions for the Linarc Timecard app to function seamlessly.
Setting up your signature is a one-time process. When you submit your timecard first time, you need to draw your sign. The app ties that up with your face ID and saves it. From the next time onwards, the app auto-fills your signature on recognizing your face.
To submit your timecard with signature
- Select 'I confirm that I was not injured today.'
- Tap 'Sign and Submit'
- Draw your sign inside the white box with your finger or a stylus:
- Tap 'Verify'
The device captures your face ID. On successful verification, the signature is saved and the timecard gets submitted.
- From the next time onwards, once you tap 'Sign and Submit' the device automatically shows the signature and starts capturing your face
- Upon verification, the timecard gets submitted with your signature. You will still be able to edit your timecard until your shift time. See Clock out and resume for more details.
Submit your timecard without your signature
To submit your timecard
- Select 'I confirm that I was not injured today.'
- Tap 'Submit without Signing'
The timecard is locked and submitted to your foreman at the end of your shift time for the day. You will still be able to edit your timecard until your shift time. See Clock out and resume for more details.
