The Task app lets you report the progress state of the tasks you oversee, for example, at the end of each day. The progress updates data are used in various modules, like the contractor schedule updates, daily reports, financial calculations, and more. Also, the task progress reports help the project managers to keep track of the field tasks and plan for upcoming tasks.
To update the progress of a task
- Select the project
- Ensure the 'Task' > 'Pulled' tab is open
- Tap a task under execution to open its task management screen
Tip: Use the date filter to view the tasks scheduled within a desired date range. Use the 'Search ' box at the top to search for the task you want to manage.
The 'Completion' slider shows the current percentage of work completed.
- Touch the slider to update the current progress percentage
A pop-up appears to enter the following details:
- Use the slider at the top to enter the current completion percentage
- Enter the approximate effort hours required to complete the remaining work in the task
- Enter the amount of work done.
- Tap the icons to upload attachments if required.
- Camera - Tap the icon to take a new photo using your device's camera.
- Gallery - Tap the icon to select the picture you want to use from your device gallery.
- Plan Sheet - Tap the icon to attach a plan sheet from the project's plans repository.
- Select or capture an image, or add the desired plan sheet.
- Enter the following details:
- Title- A desired label for the attachment depicting the task progress
- Description- A short note for the attachment
- Location- Area of the task update
- Tap 'OK' to attach the image
- Tap 'Update'
The progress is recorded:
- Repeat the process to update the progress at successive stages till the completion.
