The Change Order dashboard provides an overview of the status and statistics of all change orders pertaining to the project. It provides snapshot summaries of the effect of the change orders on the budget and the overall schedule, profit/loss that occurred to the contractors, and more. The dashboard contains dynamic charts showing statistical summaries of the change orders.
The dashboard is different for the general contractor and subcontractors. The charts shown are dependent on your role in the project.
Roles and Permissions: Only users with roles having 'View' permission or above enabled for the Change Order dashboard can view the change order dashboard of the project.
To open a change order dashboard
- Open the project management console.
- Click on the 'Change Order' tab.
The dashboard opens by default
- Click 'Change Order' on the top, then choose 'Dashboard' on the left to return to the dashboard if you are on a different screen of the project management console.
An example is given below:
The cards at the top show the summary of various financial items:
- Increased Revenue - The total impact of the change orders on the project budget
- Profit - The total profit gained from individual change orders
GC only:
- Management Fee - - The total amount gained as management fees for recording and processing change orders
- Project Completed - The completion status of the project in percentage
- Change Order Budget - The total impact of the change orders on the project budget in percentage
SC Only:
- Effort Hours - The total manhours added to the project schedule because of the change orders
- Duration - The total delay caused to the project schedule in days because of the change orders
- Equipment - The total cost associated with the equipment deployment for the change order work
- Material Cost - The total cost of materials used for the change order work
The charts show the breakdown of the change order based on different criteria:
- Project Budget-The breakdown of the current project budget based on the original budget and the change order costs.
- Original Bid Value - The initial budget/estimate of the project
- Change order by Owner - Amount added to the budget by the change orders created by the owner/developer on the budget
- Change order by Contractor - Amount added to the budget by the change orders created by the general contractors and the subcontractors on the budget
- Place your mouse on a sector to view the details
- Change order Resolution Stats- The bar chart shows the number of change orders resolved during the current week, the previous week, and the period before it. It also shows the number of change orders that are currently under processing.
- Place your mouse on a bar to view the count of COs resolved during that period
GC Only:
- By Status- The donut chart shows the breakdown of change orders by their progress statuses.
- Place your mouse on a sector to view the details
- Subcontractor Distribution-The pie chart shows the total budget impact of the change orders, broken down by assigned contractors.
- Place your mouse on a sector to view the number of change orders assigned to that contractor and their total value
- Approved Change Order Impact-The graph shows the month-wise statistics of implemented change orders and their effects on the project budget and the schedule.
- Place your mouse on a bar to view the number of change orders recorded on that month and their total value
SC Only:
- Schedule Completion-The graph shows the month-wise statistics of change orders assigned to you.
- Place your mouse on a bar to view the list of change orders and their processing time before they got finalized.
