Manage image feeds


Article Summary

The 'Feeds' feature allows you to view project-related photos uploaded by both field staff and the office staff at various points in time and share them with all construction team members. This facilitates efficient communication and documentation for all stakeholders and team members. These include but not limited to:

  • Images depicting individual tasks.
  • Images showing task progress at various time points.
  • Images of incident reports.

The project managers can also upload project images to the feeds and make them accessible to all the stakeholders and team members.

The Feeds interface

  • Open the project management console
  • Click 'Feeds' on the top

An example is shown below:

  • Name - The label of the image file uploaded
  • Created on -  The date on which the image file was uploaded
  • Location - Area in the project site depicted in the image. 

From this interface you can,

Add images to feeds

  • Open the 'Feeds' interface as mentioned above
  • Click the  button on the top right

The 'Upload Feed' pop-up opens:

  • Enter the following details:
    • Feed Name - The label of the image file uploaded 
    • Site Location - Area in the project site depicted in the image. 
    • Description - A short explanation of the image 
  • Click 'Browse' and navigate to the image file you want to upload. 
    • Alternatively, drag and drop the image into the box
  • Click 'Save'

View images in feeds

  • Open the 'Feeds' interface as mentioned above
  • Click on an image file to open 

You can view image details like feed name, site location, and description. From this screen, you can perform the following actions

Edit Image details

  • Open the image file as mentioned above
  • Click the 'Pencil' icon on the top right

The 'Edit Feed' pop up opens:

  • Edit the necessary details:
    • Feed Name - The label of the image file uploaded 
    • Site LocationArea in the project site depicted in the image. 
    • Description - A short explanation of the image 
  • Click the 'Update Feeds' button to save your changes.
