View and manage company contacts

The company management console lets you maintain a contact directory containing the list of people responsible for various departments in your company. This helps you and your fellow administrators to find the person(s) to be contacted for the type of your need. The contacts are also shown in various management consoles and the field crew apps so that users can find the persons responsible for their needs.

The 'Contacts' interface

  • Login to your company management console

The company information screen opens:

  • Click 'Contacts' on the left

  • Contact Type - The department to which the contact person is responsible for
  • Name - The full name of the contact 
  • Title - The position of the contact person in the company
  • Phone number and Email address - The contact details of the person for communication
  • Actions - Lets you remove the person from your contact directory

Add a new contact

  • Navigate to the Contacts interface
  • Click the '+' button at the top right

The 'Add Contacts' form appears:

  • Contact type - Choose the department or the functional responsibility of the person
  • Employee Name - Choose the person you want to assign as the contact
    • Type the first few characters of the name of the person choose the person from the options.
  • Click 'Add'

The person is added to your company's contact directory. 

  • Repeat the process to add more contacts.

Remove a contact

 You can remove contact persons from the directory who no longer is responsible for the department they are assigned to.

  • Login to your company management console
  • Click 'Contacts' on the left
  • Click the trashcan icon in the row of the person's name, under 'Actions'
  • Click 'Proceed' in the confirmation dialog.

The person is removed from your contact directory.

Note: 
You cannot remove the account admin who signed up for the Linarc account from the contact list.
