You can remove all locations defined for a project in one action. This is particularly useful when you need to revise the existing locations by re-uploading an updated list or replacing the entire location list with a new one.
To remove the locations defined for a project
- Open the project management console
The Project Information screen opens by default. Return to the project information if you are already on a different screen.
- To return to the Project management console from any other part of the platform
- Click the App Launcher button
in the top-right corner and select "Project" from the dropdown.
- Click the App Launcher button
- Click 'Project' on top and 'Location tree' on the left
- Click 'Reset' on the top-right
All entries are removed from the project. The locations will not be availeble from this point when creating document items like RFI or Submittals.
- Click the
icon to download the location list as an Excel sheet. This is useful if you want to clone the list for use in other similar projects. See Download List Views and Logs in Excel Format for more.
