View planned field tasks

The Tasks screen shows the list of all assigned field tasks to the foreman. The list dynamically updates with the changes in the field schedule as enforced by the project manager. 

You can pull the tasks for carrying out in the next few days as required and schedule them according to the weather, availability of labor and equipment resources, materials. and more and create a pull schedule. Once pulled, you can add crew members and equipment requirements for each task. In the course of the execution of the work, you can update the progress of each task and track them till completion. You can also add attachments, like photos of the task progress, for inclusion in the daily reports. The task progress and statistical information like labor and equipment resource consumption are automatically fetched for daily reports and job cost data calculations.

 To view all planned tasks

• Open the 'Foreman' app
• Select the project
• Tap the 'Task' menu at the bottom tab bar

• Select the 'Planned' tab

The list shows the planned field tasks:

• WBS - The work breakdown structure (WBS) code of the task
• Task name - The short description of the task with its progress status.
• The color code at the left of the task shows its field execution status:

	Gray	-	The task is yet to be pulled for execution
	Dark Blue	-	The task's planned start date has passed but is yet to be pulled for execution. Applies to tasks whose planned start date is at least one day earlier than the current date.
	Orange	-	The task has been pulled and scheduled for execution but has not yet started.
	Yellow	-	The task is in progress.
	Cyan	-	The task has been completed.

• Tap a task to view its details: 

Examples are shown below:

• Orange - Pulled and scheduled task - The task has been scheduled for execution at the site at a future date. You can assign crew members to the task and comments from this screen.

• Yellow - Task in progress - The task is being executed on the site. You can add or remove the crew members, add notes, attach task progress photos/attachments, and update task progress from this screen. See 'Manage Tasks' and 'Update task progress' for more details.

• Gray - Tasks yet to be pulled and scheduled

• Cyan - Tasks completed -You can attach photos and other attachments and add notes from this screen.
