Start a chat

You can use a chat to discuss the jobs, and their timelines, get clarifications, make announcements, and get/give guidance specific to a task at any time.
- Open the schedule screen of the project.
- Click the icon at the left of the task item row.
- Alternatively, click the icon at the top right of the schedule screen and select the chat relevant to the task item
The chat window opens to the right.
The conversion starts with the name of the task as the topic. All persons, including the project managers of the contractors involved in the task, are automatically added as participants in the conversation. If required, you can manually add more participants too.
- Click the icon to expand the conversation window if required
- Enter your message at the textbox at the bottom
You can also format your text using the options at the left and add image attachments from your local storage by clicking the image icon at the right.
- Hit 'Enter' on your keyboard or click the button to send your message.
All selected participants will get notifications on their project management console portal. The 'Collaboration' icon on the top indicates the number of new messages waiting for their perusal and response.
To manage members
- Click the icon to expand the conversation window
- Click the icon on the top-right
The current members of the conversation are shown:
- Click at the top to return to the chat window
To add more members
- Click the icon at the top.
The 'Select People' pop-up shows the list of all project managers from all contractor/architect companies involved in the project.
- Select the people to add to the conversation
- Click 'Add Members'
The participants are added to the conversation.
