Report safety incidents

Crew members can report accidents, unfortunate events, and other safety-related incidents from their TimeCard app. The incidents are added to the daily log and intimated to the project managers. This helps them to keep track of safety-related issues, identify their trends, the behavior of persons involved, assess conditions that caused the incident, assess damages and losses, etc, and devise risk mitigation plans accordingly.  

To report a safety incident

• Tap 'More' at the bottom

• Choose 'Report Incident'
• Enter the details of the incident

• • Project - Choose the project site at which the incident occurred
  • Incident date - By default, the date picker shows the current date. If you are reporting an incident that occurred in the past, use the date picker to choose the date.
  • Caused by- Choose the entity responsible for the incident. The available options are:
    • Material - Caused by hazardous materials
    • People - Caused by human error
    • Site - Caused by site conditions, weather, natural calamities, etc.  
    • Equipment - Caused by failure, breakdown, or malfunctioning of equipment, tools, and machinery
    • Waste - Caused by garbage, trash, refuse, scrap, debris, etc.
  • Severity - Choose the criticality of the injuries and damages
  • Injury - Whether any workers onsite were injured by the incident. Use the toggle switch to indicate.

If yes, tap 'Select' and select the persons who suffered injuries

• • Treatment - The kind of medical treatment given to injured persons. Indicate whether the injury required only first aid or hospital treatment.
  • Attachments- Add any documents like medical records/prescriptions and/or photos related to the incident. 
    • Touch the paper clip icon to upload any documents to the report
    • Touch the camera icon to capture a photo using your device's camera
    • Touch the image icon to upload photos from your device gallery
    • Comments - Enter a description of the incident.
• Touch the button at the top right to submit the report.    

The report is submitted to the system, and a confirmation is shown:
