    Remove an employee

      Article Summary

Employees and workers whose services are no longer needed can be terminated from your company account. Please note that Linarc forbids the terminated employees from logging in to their account but preserves their account details and work history. These records are helpful if you want to trace the projects in which the employee was a member and identify their work in the future. The removed employees cannot be reinstated at a later time.

The details of the removed employees are available from the inactive employee list.

Linarc allows you to terminate only those employees who are not a part of a project team or active crew of a project. Ensure that the employee is not a team member or included as an active crew in a project before suspending them.

      • Check the projects in which an employee is currently associated from the employee details interface. Click here for more details.
      • Seek the help of the respective project director/project manager to release the person from various pending items, if any, like RFIs, and assignments like punch list items, submittals, etc., and remove the person from the project(s).

      To remove an employee

      • Log in to your company management console
      • Click 'Employees'> 'Active.'
      • Select the employee
      Reminder:
Only employees without any assignments can be suspended. Therefore, ensure to remove the person from their current projects before the suspension.

The employee details are shown on the right pane.

      • Choose 'Terminate' from the 'Status' options.
      • Enter a reason for terminating the employee in the 'Reason' text box

The person is removed from the active employee list and placed in the inactive employee list. You can view the details of the employee at any time by selecting him/her from the 'Employees' > 'Inactive' interface. See View employee details for more details.
