Master Schedule

The master schedule follows the WBS structure of a project. The project manager of the general contractor company directly creates a WBS structure as the overall project schedule. They define the WBS elements like phases, deliverables in each phase, and work packages required for the deliverables in successive hierarchy levels. These can be assigned to the subcontractors. The GC can also assign tasks to themselves, which are to be fulfilled by them.  

The master schedule can be created manually by adding the schedule items line-by-line to the Linarc scheduler. You can also create your master schedule using your favorite scheduling tool like MS Project, Oracle Primavera, etc., and import it into the Linarc scheduler.
