    Add Task Codes Manually

      You can add the items individually by specifying the code, task name, and other parameters manually from scratch. This is also helpful if you add custom task items to the list already created by importing from the CSI MasterFormat or using a spreadsheet file. 

      To create the list from scratch

      • Open the 'Task Code' screen
      • Click the 'Import' button on the top right.
      • Click 'Create'
      • Click '+Add Row' to add blank rows to the table.
      • Each line in the table should contain one task entry. 
      • Enter the values for the tasks under the following column headers. 
        • Task Code - The unique task code associated with the category/task. Entering the task code will auto-populate the task name and details/parameters in the WBS set up in the project management portal.
        • Task name - The label of the task, shortly describing it.
        • Quantity - The amount of work done.
        • Effort - The labor involved to get a specified amount of work done.
        • Unit - The measurement unit by which the amount is measured.
        • Status- The current status of the task code, whether active or inactive.

      • Click '+Add Row' to add more line items.
      • Click 'Save' to save your draft. You can edit the values before submission.

      Enter the task type for each item manually. The permitted values are 'ADMIN,' 'OFFICE,' and 'FIELD.'

      The items are included in your company task code list and are auto-added with color codes. You can change these color codes as required.


      • Click 'Import' > 'Create' > 'Add Row' and repeat the process to add more items anytime.
      • Change the color code to the task codes as mentioned here.
