    Add planned quantities to tasks

      Article Summary

You can specify the production quantities planned for each task item in the schedule. The production quantity is specified as the total amount of work done or the deliverables expected to be achieved on the completion of the task, with its unit of measurement.

This is useful in tracking the work done and deliverables achieved along with the progress of the task and calculating the predicted end date and other essential parameters. The actual quantity achieved gets dynamically updated along with the progress updates.

      • Field level tasks - Fetched from the reports from the foreman. The project managers can also manually update the actual quantity.
      • Assigned Tasks - Fetched from the task progress as reported by the subcontractor.
      Note:
You can add the planned quantity of work only to the last-level children items in your WBS-based schedule tree.
