    Submittal Dashboard


      Article Summary

      The submittals dashboard provides an overview of the status and statistics of submittals pertaining to the project. It assists project managers in keeping track of the requested submittals, their due dates, approvals, and more. The dashboard contains dynamic charts showing statistical summaries of submittal requests and responses.

      The dashboards are slightly different for the general contractor and subcontractors. The charts shown are dependent on your role in the project.  

      To open a submittals dashboard

      • Open the project management console.
      • Click on the 'Submittals' tab.

      The submittals dashboard opens by default

      • Click 'Submittals' on the top, then choose 'Dashboard' on the left to return to the dashboard if you are on a different interface of the project management console.

      The dashboard shows the following cards and charts:

      Note:
      Some cards and graphs are exclusive to general contractors and subcontractors.

      Submittal Status

      • Shows the breakdown of the submittals based on their execution stage. 
      • Place your mouse on a sector in the chart to see the total number of submittals in that category.

      Submittal Type

      • Shows the breakdown of submittals pertaining to the project,  based on the form in which they are requested/submitted.
      • Place your mouse on a sector in the chart to see the number of submittals of that type.

      Subcontractor Distribution

      • Applies only to general contractors

      The donut chart shows the breakdown of the submittals based on the responsible subcontractors and vendors collaborating on the project. 

      • Place your mouse on a sector in the chart to see the number of submittals pertaining to a subcontractor.

      Timeline

      The bar chart shows an at-a-glance summary of the number of submittals that are due and overdue for the current week.

      • Place your mouse on the chart to view more details.

      • Due later-The number of submittals that will be in due next week
      • Due this week- Submittals that are due this week.
      • Late last week- The number of submittals that were due last week 
      • Really late- Submittals that were overdue for more than a week

      Average Response and Volume

      The graph shows the month-wise comparisons of the number of submittals that were responded and delayed. This assists the project managers in having a tab on pending submittals that needs attention.
