      Article Summary

How do I know who is onsite?

The Task app shows the list of crew members associated with a project with their onsite statuses.

      • Select the project from the top left
      • Tap the 'Crew' menu at the bottom tab bar
      • Open the 'Onsite' screen

Each crew member is shown with their onsite status:

        • Active - The crew member is on the site and carrying out an assigned task.
        • Clocked Out - The crew member has shown up for the day and currently not carrying out any task.
        • No Show - The crew member has not shown up for the day yet.
What happens if the site has no network?

All operations in the Linarc system are cloud-based. Hence we recommend ensuring continuous internet connectivity (WiFi or cellular network connection) at the job site for real-time communication, task assignment notifications, and more.

When your internet connectivity is lost, the app shows a notification at the top indicating that you are offline.

However, you can still access the app, view the details cached when the device was last online, and perform your operations. The app saves the data and pushes them when the internet connectivity is restored.

The updates like new task assignments and other changes in the project data can be received only when you are online.

Can I use a WiFi hotspot from a stationary or mobile device?

Linarc mobile apps can work with any type of internet connection. You can connect your device with any cellular network or WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth tethering from another mobile device, etc.

      Can I change a crew’s timecard?

Yes. You can edit and reconcile the timecards entries of the current day and the days in the past, before approval. This is helpful in many scenarios including, but not limited to:

      • The crew member chose the wrong task when starting the clock
      • The crew member missed to resume the clock after a clock out, performed some tasks then resumed the clock
      • The crew member clocked out for the day early but performed some tasks after that
See Edit crew timecards for guidance on this.
